Wow I was controlled by the diet industry and I didn’t know!

I loved the “women power” workshop! You really show how much we are controlled by the diet industry, and it has been going on for a long time. I feel privileged, thank you Stephanie!

During the workshop you will learn

The ONE thing all women need to understand: the intersection between women history and diet culture

What women are truly hungry for (and no it’s not food!)

Why “shrinking” your body to fit western society beauty standard is not going to make you feel more confident (and what to do instead!).

10 strategies  to reclaim your life from diet culture & reconnect to your innate power

By the time most women hit their 45th birthday, statistically speaking, we’ve tried 61 diets, plans, programs, detoxes, cleanses, meal plans, regime, an eating system in a continual, unending battle to shrink our body and hopefully, change our life.

That’s the equivalent of 31 years obsessing about changing your life via changing your body. Spinning in a circle being the victim of diet culture.

The fact is we live in a patriarchal society that enforces beauty ideals as a way to keep women busy and unable to achieve real economic and political power.

There is a way out of this mess. For that, we need to take back our power from patriarchy, reconnect to our innate female power and say enough!

What other women had to say about this workshop

Wow… This was mind-boggling!

I loved the information you provided. I had never considered the history of the diet culture but it makes so much sense. Your #1 point -education. I know I can access this from you, and return to it again and again until it sinks in.

Excellent and concise: It’s all coming together for me

It makes me feel so relaxed and empowered knowing the story behind diet culture and how its main purpose was throwing women off the feminism bandwagon. It also makes me angry that I bought into it hook, line and sinker, so desperate to be accepted by the culture. I am glad to be joining the fight against diet culture.

I had read the chapter on the history of diet culture in Christy Harrison’s book and enjoyed it, but your excellent and concise presentation with images and with your easy to understand explanations made it all come together so much more clearly.

Thank you for being such an engaging and supportive leader in this movement!
