“Why can’t I just eat like a normal person?” — rea “Why can’t I just eat like a normal person?” — read this.People who don’t struggle with eating will often say:“I just eat.”They’ve never been taught to make eating mean more than what it is.They didn’t learn to tie food to body size.
Or worth.
Or morality.
Or their value in the world. That social conditioning is what must be unlearned to re-establish normal eating.Diet culture works at the level of thoughts and beliefs.
So healing must happen there too.You don’t shift obsessive or compulsive eating through nutrition education.
Or worse a meal plan.
These tactics will never resolve the root issue.Allowance and thought work create the pathway back to normal eating. And here’s the truth most professionals miss:Normal eating is not about controlling food.
It’s about changing the meaning you’ve attached to it.If you want to assess where your own eating patternsComment ASSESSMENT

Learning to coach self-trust changed everything fo Learning to coach self-trust changed everything for me and my practice. As a clinical nutritionist, I was trained in the science of nutrition. What to eat.
When to eat.
How to eat.
How much to eat.But not once was I trained in why we eat.And that changed everything. Most rebellious eating patterns are not about food. They’re about safety. Many people use food to regulate, soothe, and create a sense of control. When we focus only on behavior, we miss the driver. When we coach self-trust, we address the root. That’s the work we do at Beyond The Food.We coach beyond the food.If you want to start integrating this into your own practice, comment ASSESSMENT and download my free Non-Diet Client Assessment Tool.It will show you how to assess what’s actually driving your client’s eating patterns.Stephanie xoxo

Weight stigma isn’t thriving right now because it’ Weight stigma isn’t thriving right now because it’s true. It thrives because people stay quiet.Research** on confronting bias shows: When one person challenges a biased comment out loud future bias decreases. When no one speaks? Bias increases.Silence gets interpreted as agreement. If you want to be a fat ally, do this:1- audit yourself of how you speak or think about your own body
2- stop commenting on bodies, yours or others.
3- challenge weight bias in social, professional and family setting.
4-practice body neutrality
5- don’t assume weight is controllable
6- ensure physical accessibility
7- amplify fat voicesAllyship isn’t what you believe.

When body image intersect with business decision When body image intersect with business decisionTen years ago, I made decisions from fear.Fear of getting it wrong.
Fear of failing publicly.
Fear of looking incompetent.Diet culture trained that pattern.Body image healing dismantled it.It taught me how to stay with discomfort instead of trying to eliminate it.It taught me how to decide — and then support myself regardless of outcome. That’s leadership. Not certainty.Self-trust.If you’re noticing hesitation in your business…Pause before you look for more strategy.#antidietrevolution #nondiet #bodyimage #feministcoaching #healthcoachforwomenComment ASSESSMENT and I’ll send you the intake tool we use to uncover how body image work is influencing your decision-making.This is deeper than tech.
