⁠I stopped public speaking, even though I LOVED ⁠I stopped public speaking, even though I LOVED it.I remember the day like it was yesterday—sitting on the couch, paralyzed by shame.Tears dripped onto the keyboard as I typed up an email, backing out of a keynote speaking engagement.I couldn’t bring myself to stand on stage. What would people think about me in this much larger body?

Fast forward to March 7th, 2023I was back on the speaking stage at Idaho State University as a keynote speaker for the Body Image Symposium,presenting my body image coaching methodology: The Body Neutrality Framework.That day was a full-circle moment for me.I created this result because I made peace with my weight and body image.
And as a result of embracing body neutrality, I also created financial wealth.In 2016 & 2017, I barely made any money in my business. 

I was stuck in a loop of trying to prove my worth as a coach—building a “fancy” website, investing in expensive branding, and creating complicated concepts to ensure my audience saw me as intelligent and worth the “investment.”All while ensuring photos and videos of me were only from the shoulders up.I couldn’t understand why people weren’t buying. I was working so hard to be “perfect.”Then, in late 2017, I hired a coach who told me what I needed to hear: “You can only take people as far as you’ve taken yourself.”Up to that point, I thought body image was just about “how you feel about your reflection in the mirror.”But body image is so much more than that. It’s how we think about ourselves. It’s our self-concept.In 2018, everything changed.I created the Body Neutrality Coaching Framework and perfected it with my clients. It became my intellectual property and the reason I was invited to guest lecture at ISU.That year, my income doubled, and I’ve never looked back.This $$ result is not a “fluke” but the external result of my internal work.I’m proud of myself for doing the work.I’m so grateful for the transformation in my self-concept that body image healing has brought.And this is only the beginning ♥️#bodyimage #womeninspiringwomen
