I’m thinking of food/eating less often
It’s interesting how much my thinking has evolved in such a short time taking the Going Beyond The Food Method. I’m noticing I’m thinking of food/eating less often.
I felt listened to and cared for...
I LOVED my one on one sessions with Stephanie. I am amazed by her intuitive skills. I was given tangible ways to help!!
I deleted my tracking app - to get out of the diet mentality.

Stephanie's program was great at peeling back all of the layers and getting to the root of the “why”. I get to add stuff to my plate instead of restricting! This program on re-engaging with food from a place of nutrition and enjoyment, to reactivate our internal nutritionist and help to get back to eating because we’re hungry, then stopping when full.

Removing the restrictions has been helpful. It’s a big shift in my mindset after doing Stephanie's program. Labeling feelings has been crucial for me too. I find that I am feeling more in tune with my experiences and reactions to situations.
The tools work!!
All that I wanted to do was go and eat the muffins and scone and turnovers. I removed myself and did the deep breathing exercise that Stephanie Dodier talked about... here I am 4 hours later and no pastries have been consumed. Going Beyond The Food Method tools work!!
For the first time in my life, I am free to enjoy life.
Each week of the Going Beyond the Food program has been like turning stones, discovering new parts of myself that have been hidden and suppressed by years of negative thinking, dieting, and self-judgment. It has helped me experience countless “ah-ha” moments, the biggest of which was that I can be happy right NOW.

The information that you shared about food cravings was life-changing for me. I have asked several therapists about stopping uncontrollable late night munchies. They’ve all offered up some truly unhelpful advice like “try having a protein shake” or “get those big chewy pretzels that take a long time to eat” (&%^ to both of those, am I right?)
I was blown away when you were talking in-depth about getting to the root of the craving. I’m tearing up thinking about it because I have been struggling with this for decades!

The one-on-one coaching with Stephanie moved me to the right direction
Before working one-on-one with Stephanie, I think I had less self-confidence and also not so much self-esteem and I was not sure about some stuff. My body was the same as now but I wasn't feeling as well in it. Actually, I lost some weight because I dropped the anxiety that losing weight is difficult.
You helped me to feel my intuition. You were authentic and I felt like your friend and that you care about me. You're kind, inspiring and your knowledge and experiences helped me to sort out some issues I was not sure about, that led me through massive transformation I made the next three month. You got me started with finding more techniques that work for me.
I am now more confident and I know I have a big background in the Academy and I can reach there anytime I need, I can inspire others and help my clients much better as I understand my inner world now more in-depth. Thanks once again.
It was really enlightening...
It was really enlightening for me to use the guided activity to identify the repeat emotions that occur that I ‘use’ food to deal with & try to suppress the emotion rather than feeling it.
Doing the mental work, feeling my feelings and emotions in an honest way has enabled me the awareness and an open-minded approach to be mindful & create the needed change.
