The Academy was great at peeling back all of the layers and getting to the root of the “why”. The Going Beyond the Food Health Mastery picked up where the Academy left off and took it to a whole other level.

I get to add stuff to my plate instead of restricting! The Health Mastery focuses on re-engaging with food from a place of nutrition and enjoyment, to reactivate our internal nutritionist and help to get back to eating because we’re hungry, then stopping when full.

What I received there was unexpected, but so much better than getting back on diet!

The result of joining the Academy - a completely new outlook on life, food, health and my body. I learned how to be grateful for the things I have/know/do, how to accept my body. I learned a lot about emotions - what they are, why they are here and what to do with them - so now I am much calmer in dealing with everyday stressful situations.

I’m so thankful to be going through the Conquer Emotional Eating program! Dots are connecting. The pleasure discussion being innate and how I am created is such a release! It isn’t being selfish or broken. It is simply how I am created. No judgment in pleasure seeking is a key thing I am just now getting. If we ignore the need for pleasure, then we are self-sabotaging, punishing ourselves, or putting others ahead of our basic needs.

A life-changing program

I was depressed, binging daily, often anxious, irritable, and very mean to myself all day long. I was not in a good place at all. In fact, I felt pretty desperate. Also, I'd been diagnosed with thyroid, adrenal and other health issues.

As a result of working one-on-one with Stephanie, everything has shifted. First of all, I'm calmer, I'm more trusting, I feel like my body and I are friends again. Also, though my health isn't perfect, thanks to Stephanie's guidance, I trust fully that my body is giving me important messages that will guide me back to health and wellness. Finally, I feel so much happier more peaceful and generally less anxious/irritable.

I LOVED my one on one sessions with Stephanie. I felt listened to, cared for, and like I was given tangible ways to help!! Of course her interest in mindfulness and neuroscience, my favorite topics ever, was an even nicer bonus!

I will forever be changed. I know that this is just the beginning of my journey towards true health.

After going through the Conquer Emotional Eating program, I don't get those "feelings" to eat like I used to. It is me making choices to make my body feel good. It's a different mindset and I like it much better. 🙂

It was really enlightening...

The book had some really good strengths & key points for me. It was really enlightening for me to use the guided activity to identify the repeat emotions that occur that I ‘use’ food to deal with & try to suppress the emotion rather than feeling it.

Doing the mental work, feeling my feelings and emotions in an honest way has enabled me awareness and an open-minded approach to be mindful & create the needed change.

Wow—the daily awareness journal in the Conquer Emotional Eating program has been an eye-opening experience. It has been an exercise in honesty for me. It has also highlighted a new skill: I’ve started sharing my feelings with my kids, which has decreased the urge to eat my emotions. This tool would make an awesome app for my phone!
