One thing that differentiates us as non-diet coaches versus “traditional” health coaches or nutritionists is that we don’t coach the behaviour. Besides, we don’t coach behaviours because we know they are simply results of our client’s thoughts and emotions.
Here’s some food for thought… Non-diet coaches searching for “right” pricing is not all that different from their clients searching for the “right” diet.
Often, non-diet coaches do this because they feel doubtful, scared, and lacking agency over their business. Which leads them to believe that something, or someone, outside of them has the right formula to tell them exactly what to charge.
If you think this way, that’s okay, it’s not your fault.
Now, let’s look at pricing in a different way. So that you can feel more confident and in your power when sharing your prices with people.
How to set the right pricing as a non-diet coach
“I didn’t expect this much”, “this is a lot of money”… maybe you’ve heard statements like this when you’ve tried to set your own prices, and it felt shameful or uncomfortable? And those prices likely weren’t landing you clients (or enough clients).

#1 – Charge a price you feel confident inviting people to pay for their transformation. When you start, how much you charge is not important – just get started.
#2 – Undercharge and over-deliver all the way! Once you’re experienced and have fine-tuned your methodology…
#3 – Enter the second wave of pricing and position yourself in the market as an expert.
At the end of the day, what matters most when you set pricing is your mindset.
