096 – The #1 Reason Why Nothing Changes

In this episode I discuss
We often experience being very enthusiastic about achieving a goal. We do all the things that we need to do. We listen to information available through the social media, magazines, TV shows, and emails. We read all related books, get a new program, buy meal plans, and even hire a coach, just to make sure that we arrive at the goal. And yet, after a month or two, we revert back to our old selves. Like, “what the heck? I know what to do, but why am I not getting any results? Why nothing changes?”
I, myself, have gone through the same problem with my weight. I tried different diet programs that I will strictly follow for one week, but after that, I’ll go back to eating chips. I’d wonder what was wrong with me.
Unlearn what was taught to us
The thing is… we were told many different things while growing up. We were told that to manage our weight, we need to do diet and exercise. We were told to buy many types of products. We were educated that the solution to our weight problem is a certain diet plan, a work-out video/program, or a gym membership. It’s not our fault if we listened to all of these, but we must realize now that they are not the real solution.
Why nothing changes: The Solution
We need to know that the solution is inside of us… we just need to learn how to find it. That is why we need a platform that will help us talk about how to find this solution. This platform should be a place where we can freely speak and say the real thing. It’s the place where we can learn that weight has nothing to do with calories or macros. It’s about how we feel and how is our relationship with ourselves.
It took me several months, but my team and I have finally built this platform that I wanted to create for a long time. The Going beyond the Food project is an online conference, where 21 teachers will explain that the answer to the BIG question, “why nothing changes?” has nothing to do with food. Instead, it has everything to do with us. You can register now and get exclusive access to free videos and health guides.
Know the Real Reason
The #1 reason why nothing changes is that we don’t take true responsibility. We rely too much on the information that is fed to us by TV programs, social media, and other online sources. We look for answers outside of ourselves so we won’t be responsible for the way we feel and think. You need to stop this. You need to do better.
Be responsible to educate yourselves because you know your own body better than any diet programs or meal plans do. You are more aware of your own health. Just accept who you are and take responsibility in making the best version of yourself. The time to do it is NOW!

In this episode I discuss
The biggest secret the food industry doesn’t want you to know about your food… that is what Going Beyond The Food is all about. Going Beyond The Food means understanding vibrational frequency. You are vibrating right now, so is your liver and your brain, so is whoever is sitting next to you. The words that you speak have vibration. The food you eat has a vibration frequency.
Food Energetic Frequencies
The food that you choose can have an impact on your over-all vibrational frequency. Your level of vibration is fundamental to being happy and supercharged in your health, your work, and your relationships. Hence, it’s important for us to understand how food energetic frequencies work. In her new book, Vibe, Robyn Openshaw, also known as the Green Smoothie Girl, is going to demonstrate to us that if we live at a higher vibration, we’re healthier and happier. And she’ll teach us how to achieve it!
Last week’s episode, Anne Margolis Holistic midwife and I discussed the impacts of pregnancy and birthing experience to how we live today and our relationship to food and yes, our cravings! I suggest you check it out!” You can listen to the episode here.

Listen to the episode:

Weight loss: What if we got it all wrong?
Weight loss for decades as be sold to us in this way:
Burn more calories than you eat.
Clearly it doesn’t work. What if we got it all wrong?
Today, I share my thoughts on this topic & what I’m planning to do to change the way we view weight loss going forward!
Weight loss: Being philosophical
I have gained and lost more weight than I weigh today…
I’m an expert at gaining and losing and after fearing to lose my life over the consequence of it, I decided to go back to school and teach myself all I needed to know about the topic.
Guess what I have learned?
That what I had been taught about weight loss was all wrong… more than this, even those who think they know it ALL are forgetting what is, in my opinion, the most important element…
I’m about to disrupt the world of weight loss. Will you be with me?
The last episode, we talked to Shawn Mynar, known as the Keto Diet and how it can be dangerous for women. Shawn answered the question if we should look dieting on keto or not…You can listen here.
Next episode 91 we will be talking to Dr. Taz about the Superwomen Syndrome. You don’t want to miss this…

I guide women on how to feel damn good by reshaping their mind instead of their body. Let’s go beyond the food and fight diet culture & patriarchy by living powerfully. You’ll walk away with ressources to embrace your well-being & health in a way that will expand your freedom and power.
Is the problem you or your diet?
I asked myself this question for years…and I figure you likely have the same question so I create a assessment for you to figure it out. Take the quiz now.
